Two Teams

One Coordinated Project

Modular construction works best when everyone understands their role from the beginning. The Modular Builder manages the modular home—from early planning through factory construction, delivery and set. You and your local team manage the property, foundation, local permits and on-site completion.

During design, approvals and construction, both teams work in parallel to keep the project moving forward.

  • Bringing utilities to the foundation

  • Stitching the modules after the set, including structural connections, building systems and marriage lines

  • Completing the remaining interior, exterior and site work

  • Final inspections and certificate of occupancy

Working in Parallel

While we develop the modular home plans, your local structural engineer can begin the foundation plans. While we obtain approvals for the modular portion of the home, you can work with your local jurisdiction to secure the site permits.

Once approvals are complete, your home is constructed in the factory while your local team prepares the property and builds the foundation. These parallel paths come together when the home is delivered and set.

After the set, your local contractor stitches the modules together, completes the remaining work and prepares the home for final inspection and move-in.
